Who we are

This website is operated by Scoopwatmediapanda Living Ltd, company number 15204873, registered office 41 Kirkgate, Otley, LS21 3HN, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].

What we collect

• Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you include. We use it only to read and reply, and to improve our guides.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and reliability. Logs are kept for a limited period.
• Contact tool. The message builder on our contact page runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type there is sent to us unless you choose to email it.

Legal basis

We process emails on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, and server logs on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure. Where consent is required for optional storage on your device, we ask first.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who host the site or our email, under contracts requiring them to protect it, or where the law requires.

Retention

We keep correspondence for up to 24 months unless a longer period is needed for legal reasons, then delete it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and request portability. Email us to exercise these rights. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
